    Would any of you fine folks have the pinout or better yet the instruction sheet for the following Altec/Peerless numbers-K241D which I believe is an input transformer and for the E204D which has the same terminal arrangement? Thanks for any help!

    Welcome radeng!

    The Altec 260A amplifier used a K241D input xfmr, and the schem shows the pinout;

    (There are other 260A schems on the web, perhaps better scans.)

    You're correct that the k241d is an input xfmr, and the E204D is a repeat coil (matching). Since both are in "D" cases, pinout 'should' be the same. 20/20 series, top-notch xfmrs!

    Hi bfish,

    I forgot to ask... can I use the E204D as a mic splitter transformer?

    You're welcome.

    Would it be a fair guess that radeng=radio engineer?

    As to the repeat coil question, I can only mimic the Lost In Space robot;

    You would be right. I'm a broadcast engineer by trade. I take care of 2 FM's, and an AM.
